The Dublin Reunion and Lions Club Irish Stampede will return on June 8 accompanied by a growing list of other events joining the busy Saturday schedule.

Elections were held for Erath County on Saturday with voters deciding on a new City Council member for Dublin and narrowly accepting a bond for Lingleville ISD.

Dublin High School is headed to the State Lineman Challenge at Hardin Simmons University June 22 after placing high in May 25 competition at HSU.

L ions from all sports converged May 2 to celebrate the successes of the 2018-19 athletic seasons.

Dublin will send 12 athletes to Regionals after they placed in the top four at the Area track meet in Jim Ned on April 17.

Norma Jean Turner, 91, died in Stephenville on May 13, 2019. She was born in Fort Worth on Dec. 31, 1937, to Jesse M. Hayes and Merta (Vandiver). 

John Reid, 77, died on Thursday, May 9, 2019, in Comanche.

Catherine Lucille Smith of Dublin, died Thursday, May 9, 2019, at 71 years.

Catherine was born Oct. 7, 1947, in Gorman to Glenn and Catherine (Chandler) Smith.
